The Water Management PhD degree program will serve the national and regional need for water scientists, engineers, and innovators. The primary purpose of the proposed PhD programs is to provide graduate education for addressing national, regional, and international water issues, training the next generation of water educators, researchers, managers, and professionals; and promoting outreach.

The PhD program in Water Management will have the following three specialization tracks:

  1. Hydrology and Water Resources Management (HWRM)
  2. Aquatic Ecosystems Management (AEM)
  3. Water Science and Technology (WST)
